Windows 7 is here. Should i upgrade or not - 7 Final Verdict

Final verdict: Windows 7 is elegant. It’s security is better than XP’s. It’s not sluggish like Vista. It preserves your battery life better. Win 7 is the best OS Microsoft has built. Even its re-released version is impressive. It’s got a shorter boot time than XP and Vista. It’s shut down time is lesser than Vista. But anyway, you should only upgrade your XP machine into 7 only if your Ram is decent and your processor is speedy. Only by this way you get the benefits of the glamorous Windows 7.

Windows 7 is here. Should i upgrade or not - 6 Battery life

Because it’s lightweight, Windows XP is an OS that preserve your laptops battery life. Windows Vista has also built keeping power preservation in mind. It’s got a complex power options set. But even with all those power management options, Vista tends to wastes battery power. But windows 7 have got the solution. At times when you left the computer ideal, it saves power by shutting down all but a single processor. Also it only starts services when they are needed. In my laptop, for example if Microsoft Word and Google Chrome are running, the battery stays about 2 hours. If I use Vista this time would lessen.

Windows 7 is here. Should i upgrade or not - 5 Gaming
